We had a Teddy Bear
Picnic and here's what the
students had to say about their bears:
Our theme was bears. They brought teddy bears in for
show and tell. They had a teddy bear picnic in the classroom (for
snack). We sorted the bears by size (small medium and large) and
counted them.
"He's special." "I love him much." "I
snuggle him." "We snuggle." "I sleep with him." "I
sit with him." "I bring him everywhere." "I like it a
lot." "It's really my sister's" "It's not
mine." "It's my sister's." "His name is Bunnyhop." "I
eat lunch with him." "I draw pictures with him." "I keep him
in the toy box." "He has to get washed." "I had since I was a
baby." "I'm going to bring him outside in the morning." "I got
it from Christmas in the stocking." "It flies." "I had it for a long long time."
